Vending Machines

Nevada County Public Health’s health access vending (HAVEN) machines provide additional access points to free and confidential county health products and services that:

  • Save lives
  • Prevent chronic disease
  • Promote mental and physical health
  • Reduce harm

All products are free and you can register here for a unique pin number to access products easily online or in-person.

Products available through the vending machines include:

  • Naloxone (Narcan) and fentanyl test strips
  • Medication and sharps disposal kits
  • Adult and children’s oral health kits
  • First aid, hygiene and grooming kits
  • Safer sex kits
  • And more (see below for a full list of products in English and Spanish)

Registering is as easy as 1-2-3

STEP 1. Register online, at the iPad next to the vending machine, or in-person at a partner organization to receive your unique pin number to access the machines.

STEP 2. Visit a health access vending machine (locations below).

STEP 3. Follow the directions on the machine by entering your unique pin number, selecting the product(s) you would like and access a range of free health products and services.
